The protected landscape area of Jeseníky is situated at the north edge of Moravia and of the Czech part of Silesia, on the boundary of the Moravskoslezský and Olomoucký Regions, in the area of the districts of Bruntál, Jeseník and Šumperk. Jeseníky is an oasis of peace, at every step you can find here playing fields full of adventure. Hrubý Jeseník is the second highest mountain range in the Czech Republic after Krkonoše; a rich network of marked hiking trails and a number of recreational and sports centres go without saying in such an area.
